Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.75 cups milk
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

    Preheat waffle iron. Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.

    Whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter in a separate bowl until smooth.

    Pour wet ingredients into dry. Stir until just combined; a few lumps are fine.

    Lightly oil the waffle iron. Pour batter into center, close, and cook until steam stops and the waffle is golden brown, 3–4 minutes.

    Transfer waffle to a plate. Repeat with remaining batter.

    Serve hot with butter, maple syrup, berries, or whipped cream.
