Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Place the 1/2 cup softened butter in a small bowl. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes if it is not already soft.

Add the 2 tbsp chopped chives, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, and 1/4 tsp salt to the butter.

Mash and stir with a fork until the herbs are evenly distributed throughout the butter, about 1 minute.

Spoon the butter onto a sheet of plastic wrap, shape into a log about 1 inch thick, and roll tightly. Twist the ends to seal.
