Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the 12 oz penne and cook until al dente, about 11 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2
While the pasta cooks, heat the 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add the 1 lb ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and no longer pink, about 6 minutes.
- 3
Stir in the 24 oz tomato sauce and 1 tsp dried rosemary. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4
Add the cooked penne to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly. Cook for 1 minute to warm through, then season with the 1 tsp salt and serve hot.
