Ingredients

  • 500 g squid, cleaned
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • ½ small red onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Pat squid dry and score lightly in a crosshatch pattern.

    Brush squid with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

    Grill squid over high heat for 2-3 minutes per side until charred and tender.

    Slice squid into rings and tentacles.

    Arrange lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a platter.

    Top with grilled squid and drizzle with soy sauce and lemon juice.

    Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
