Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork belly
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the 1 lb pork belly into 1/2-inch thick pieces. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, and 2 minced garlic cloves to make a glaze.

  2. 2

Brush the pork slices with the glaze on both sides. Let them sit for 5 minutes while you preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

Brush the grill with 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Place the pork on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until charred at the edges and cooked through (internal temperature 145°F).

  4. 4

Brush with any remaining glaze during the last minute of cooking. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 2 minutes.

  5. 5

Slice the 2 green onions thinly and sprinkle over the pork before serving.
