Ingredients
- 1 pound (about 4 links) kielbasa sausage
- 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes
- 3 whole fresh chili peppers (jalapeños or serranos)
- 3 tbsp yellow mustard
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high until a drop of water sizzles and evaporates immediately, about 2 minutes.
- 2
Score the kielbasa skin in a crosshatch pattern with a knife. Add to the hot pan and cook 8–10 minutes, rolling occasionally, until all sides are dark and crispy.
- 3
Push the kielbasa to the side. Add tomatoes and whole peppers to the pan, toss with olive oil, and cook 3–4 minutes until blistered and charred.
- 4
Transfer kielbasa to a cutting board and slice into 1-inch rounds. Arrange on a plate with the charred tomatoes and peppers.
- 5
Drizzle mustard and ketchup over the kielbasa. Serve hot, tearing into the peppers as you eat.
