Ingredients
- 4 links (about 1 lb) Hungarian kolbász sausages (fresh pork)
- ¾ lb pork shoulder or pork loin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium yellow onion, cut into chunks
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1.5 tbsp Hungarian paprika (sweet or hot, your choice)
- ½ lemon, halved

Thread pork cubes onto skewers, alternating with onion chunks. Season everything generously with salt and pepper.

Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Melt butter in a small bowl and stir in paprika until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Lay sausages and skewers on the hot grill. Brush everything with paprika butter right away.

Grill 3–4 minutes per side, turning once, until sausages char and pork is cooked through. Brush with paprika butter again halfway through.

Transfer sausages and skewers to a plate. Squeeze lemon juice over the top.
