Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the 2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp salt. Make a well in the center.
- 2
Add the 0.75 cup yogurt and 0.5 cup water to the well. Stir with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
- 3
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp towel and rest for 15 minutes.
- 4
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 6-inch round, about 1/4 inch thick.
- 5
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush each flatbread with a little of the 2 tbsp olive oil.
- 6
Grill the flatbreads for 2-3 minutes per side, until charred spots appear and they puff slightly. Keep cooked ones wrapped in a towel.
- 7
Serve warm with dips, or use as wraps. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
