Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced thin
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 4 pieces pita bread
  • 1 set Greek yogurt, tomato, red onion, salt & pepper for serving

Instructions

    Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and oregano in a bowl.

    Add sliced chicken and toss to coat. Let sit 5 minutes while you prep toppings.

    Dice tomato and slice red onion thin. Pour Greek yogurt into a small bowl.

    Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until oil shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through, 6–8 minutes.

    Warm pita in a dry skillet or toaster over medium heat for 30 seconds per side.

    Spread yogurt on warm pita, add chicken, then top with tomato and onion.

    Season with salt and pepper. Fold and serve immediately.
