  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

    Preheat oven to 375°F. In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups flour, 1/2 cup softened butter, and 1/4 cup sugar until crumbly. Press into a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.

    In a saucepan, whisk 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, and 3 tbsp cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbling, about 5 minutes.

    Pour the custard over the crust. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup raisins and 1/4 cup sliced almonds.
