Ingredients

  • 8 oz fusilli pasta
  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 medium onion
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ tsp dried red chili flakes

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook the 8 oz fusilli in salted boiling water until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add the 1 lb beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add the 1 sliced onion and cook over medium until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

Return beef to the skillet. Stir in the 15 oz tomato sauce, 1 tsp dried rosemary, and 0.5 tsp dried red chili flakes. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 10 minutes.
