Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken wings (drummettes + flats)
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 3 stalks scallions, chopped
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas)
- 6 oz braised tofu skin (canned or prepared)
Instructions
- 1
Pat chicken wings dry. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until smoking, ~90 seconds.
- 2
Working in batches, sear wings 3 minutes per side without stirring until skin is deep golden and edges crisp.
- 3
Return all wings to the pan. Whisk soy sauce, honey, and ginger together, then pour over wings and toss to coat.
- 4
Simmer 2 minutes, shaking the pan often, until the glaze thickens and clings to the wings with a glossy sheen.
- 5
Push wings to the side. Add 1 tbsp oil to the open space, then add mixed vegetables and toss constantly for 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 6
Warm the braised tofu skin separately in a small pot or microwave, then plate alongside the wings and vegetables. Garnish with scallions.
