Ingredients
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic cloves
- ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, mix 2.5 cups flour, 1 tsp instant yeast, and 1 tsp salt. Make a well and pour in 1 cup warm water and 2 tbsp olive oil.
- 2
Stir with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms, about 1 minute. Cover with a damp towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
- 3
Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes, until doubled.
- 4
Preheat oven to 425°F. Press dough into a 9x13 inch baking pan, dimple deeply with your fingers. Drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil and press 4 sliced garlic cloves into the dimples.
- 5
Sprinkle with 0.5 tsp flaky sea salt. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped. Cool 5 minutes before slicing.
