Ingredients

  • 2 bags English breakfast tea bags
  • 16 oz boiling water
  • 4 oz cold milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 pieces butter biscuits (digestives or hobnobs)
  • ¼ cup roasted almonds and cashews

Instructions

    Pour boiling water into a teapot or cup and steep both tea bags for 3–4 minutes until dark golden.

    Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.

    Pour brewed tea into two cups, filling each about three-quarters full.

    Top each cup with 2 oz cold milk, stirring gently to blend.

    Serve immediately with biscuits and a small handful of nuts on the side.
