Ingredients

  • 1 double shot (or 2 oz strong coffee) espresso shots or strong brewed coffee
  • 8 oz whole milk
  • ½ tbsp (or to taste) sugar

Instructions

    Pour espresso or strong coffee into a mug. Add sugar if desired and stir well.

    Heat milk in a small saucepan or microwave until steaming hot, ~120°F or until wisps of steam rise.

    Pour hot milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon to create a thin stream first.

    Top with a spoonful of milk foam and serve immediately.
