Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • ½ tbsp honey or sugar

Instructions

    Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to steam, about 2 minutes. Do not let it boil.

    Pour hot espresso into a large mug. Add honey and stir until dissolved.

    Using a milk frother or whisk vigorously in a jar for 30 seconds until milk is foamy and volume increases by a third.

    Pour steamed milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon. Top with remaining foam.

    Serve immediately while hot and foam is still creamy.
