Ingredients
- 1 bag English breakfast tea bags (or loose tea)
- 8 fl oz water
- 2 fl oz whole milk
- ½ tsp sugar or honey (optional)

Heat water until steam rises steadily or it reaches a rolling boil, about 3–4 minutes.

Pour milk into a ceramic cup or mug, filling it about a quarter of the way.

Place tea bag in the cup and pour hot water over it, filling almost to the top.

Steep for 3–5 minutes until the tea is deep amber and fragrant.

Remove the tea bag, stir gently, and add sugar or honey if desired.
