- ½ cup dried currants
- ¼ cup almonds
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
