Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until shimmering. Add 2 tbsp cumin seeds and toast, stirring, until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  2. 2

Add 1 lb sliced beef in a single layer. Sear without stirring for 1-2 minutes until browned, then stir-fry until just cooked through, about 3 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same pan, add 1 sliced bell pepper, 4 cut green onions, 1 tbsp minced ginger, and 3 minced garlic cloves. Stir-fry over high heat until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.

  4. 4

Return beef to the pan. Season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 1 minute. Serve hot.
