  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cups fruit (e.g., berries or sliced peaches)

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F. In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups flour and 0.5 cup sugar. Cut in 0.5 cup cold butter with a fork until crumbly.

    Press 2/3 of the crumb mixture into a 9-inch tart pan or pie dish, covering the bottom and sides. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.

    Spread 2 cups fruit evenly over the baked crust. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the fruit.
