Ingredients
- 4 pieces (about 4 oz each) pork cutlets, thin-cut
- 4 slices Swiss cheese slices
- 4 slices ham slices
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 whole eggs
- ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 whole lemon
Instructions
- 1
Pat pork cutlets dry. Place between plastic wrap and pound to 1/4-inch thickness.
- 2
Lay one slice ham and one slice cheese on each cutlet. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- 3
Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, panko in the third. Season panko with salt and pepper.
- 4
Coat each roll in flour, then egg, then panko, pressing gently so breading adheres.
- 5
Heat 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until shimmering.
- 6
Fry rolls 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese starts leaking from edges.
- 7
Transfer to a plate. Squeeze fresh lemon over top and serve immediately.
