Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground chicken
  • 16 count wonton wrappers
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
  • 2 count chopped scallion
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

    Mix ground chicken, ginger, scallion, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl until combined.

    Spoon 1 tsp filling into the center of each wonton wrapper, wet edges with water, then fold into a triangle.

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 1 minute.

    Arrange dumplings flat-side down in the pan and sear without stirring until golden brown, 2–3 minutes.

    Pour 1/4 cup water into the pan, immediately cover with a lid, and steam for 3 minutes until water evaporates.
