Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground lamb
- 1.5 cups cooked long-grain rice
- 4 sheets phyllo sheets
- ½ medium yellow onion, minced
- 1.5 tsp warm spice blend (cumin, cinnamon, allspice)
- ¼ cup pine nuts, toasted (optional garnish)

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high. Add minced onion, cook 2 minutes until soft.

Add ground lamb, break up with a spoon, brown until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

Stir in spice blend, then fold in rice. Cook 1 minute until fragrant and heated through.

Lay one phyllo sheet on your work surface, brush lightly with oil, layer 3 more sheets, brushing each.
