Ingredients

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough (thawed)
  • 1.5 cups feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • ¼ cup fresh dill and parsley, chopped
  • 1 whole egg
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix feta, dill, parsley, egg, and pepper in a bowl until combined.

    Place one phyllo sheet on a cutting board. Brush lightly with melted butter.

    Cut the phyllo into 4 strips lengthwise. Place 1 tbsp filling on the lower left corner of each strip.

    Fold the bottom-left corner up and to the right to form a triangle, then keep folding up until you reach the end of the strip.

    Place folded triangles seam-side down on a sheet pan. Brush all pies with remaining butter.

    Bake until golden brown and crispy, 12–14 minutes. Serve warm.
