Ingredients

  • 2 rounds pita bread
  • 4 cups, chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 medium, diced tomato
  • 1 medium, diced cucumber
  • 4 pieces, thinly sliced radish
  • 1 piece lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 1 tsp sumac

Instructions

    Cut pita into bite-sized pieces. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering.

    Add pita pieces to the skillet. Toast, stirring often, until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes.

    Transfer pita chips to a paper towel to cool. Wipe the skillet clean.

    Toss romaine, tomato, cucumber, and radish in a large bowl with salt and pepper.

    Whisk together lemon juice, 3 tbsp olive oil, and sumac. Pour over greens and toss gently.
