  • ½ cup sharp cheddar, finely diced
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 3 tbsp whole milk
  • 3 cups neutral cooking oil, for frying
  • ½ cup mojo sauce (jarred) or lime juice

Instructions

    Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high until a wooden spoon handle bubbles vigorously (350°F).
