Ingredients

  • 1 batch (or 2 naan) pizza dough or flatbread (store-bought or premade)
  • ¾ cup diced ham
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, cut into 0.5-inch chunks
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, torn (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 450°F. If using dough, pat or stretch it into a thin round on a sheet pan. Brush lightly with oil.

  2. 2

Spread pizza sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a 0.5-inch border for the crust. Top with mozzarella.

  3. 3

Scatter ham and pineapple chunks evenly across the cheese. Sprinkle with pepper flakes if using.

  4. 4

Bake for 12–14 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbles at the edges. Pineapple will start to caramelize.

  5. 5

Remove from oven and let cool for 1 minute. Scatter fresh basil over top if desired.

  6. 6

    Slice and serve hot.
