Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) canned chickpeas, drained and patted dry
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp chili crisp (Lao Gan Ma or similar)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ whole lime, halved

Instructions

    Pat chickpeas completely dry with paper towels — moisture prevents crisping.

    Toss chickpeas with oil, chili crisp, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl until coated.

    Spread in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set to 375°F for 10 minutes.

    Shake the basket halfway through. Chickpeas should be golden and crispy at edges.

    Transfer to a bowl. Squeeze lime juice over the top and toss gently.

    Serve hot as a snack, over a grain bowl, or with crusty bread.
