Ingredients

  • ½ loaf baguette or ciabatta
  • ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 whole garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 whole fresh rosemary sprigs
  • ½ whole lemon
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt

    Slice baguette on a sharp angle into 1/3-inch-thick pieces. Brush both sides lightly with oil.

    Toast bread slices in a large skillet over medium-high heat, 90 seconds per side, until golden and crisp. Set aside.

    Pat chicken dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Sear in the same skillet over medium-high, 5 minutes per side, until cooked through and golden. Transfer to a cutting board.

    Add smashed garlic cloves and rosemary to the skillet, cook 90 seconds until fragrant, then add honey and red pepper flakes. Stir until combined.
