Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 4 shells or 2 cups strips crispy tortilla shells or fried tortilla strips
  • 6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup salsa
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1 minute.

    Add ground beef and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until no pink remains, 5–6 minutes.

    Stir in taco seasoning and 2 tbsp water. Simmer 1 minute until fragrant.

    Divide lettuce among four bowls or crispy tortilla shells.

    Top each with seasoned beef, cheese, and crispy tortilla strips if using bowls.
