Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup tortilla chips
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 whole lime

Instructions

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, ~90 seconds.

    Add ground beef and break it up with a spoon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until no pink remains, ~6 minutes.

    Stir in taco seasoning and 2 tbsp water. Simmer until the mixture is fragrant and coats the beef, ~1 minute.

    Divide romaine between two bowls. Top with warm beef, tortilla chips, cheese, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream.

    Squeeze lime wedge over the top. Serve immediately.
