Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1.5 cups tortilla chips
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 whole lime (halved)

Instructions

    Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until no pink remains, 5–6 minutes.

    Sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef and stir to combine. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.

    Place chopped romaine on a serving plate or in a bowl.

    Top with warm beef, tortilla chips, and cheddar cheese.

    Dollop sour cream on top and squeeze lime juice over the salad. Serve immediately.
