Ingredients

  • 14 oz extra-firm tofu
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 whole scallions, sliced

Instructions

  1. 1

Press tofu between paper towels with a heavy plate for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

Cut pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes. Toss with cornstarch and salt in a bowl until evenly coated.

  3. 3

Whisk soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced ginger, garlic, and honey in a small bowl until smooth.

  4. 4

Brush tofu cubes lightly with olive oil on all sides. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  5. 5

Air fry at 400°F for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Edges should be golden and crispy.

  6. 6

Transfer cooked tofu to a bowl. Drizzle with sesame oil, then pour the ginger-soy glaze over and toss gently.

  7. 7

Top with sliced scallions and serve immediately over rice or with steamed vegetables.
