Ingredients

  • 2 fillets (6 oz each) salmon fillets, skin-on
  • ½ cup sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 whole lemon (zested + juiced)
  • 1 whole shallot, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
  • ¼ cup crispy fried onions or panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper. Spread in a 10-inch skillet skin-side down.

    Mix sour cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, shallot, and dill in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

    Dollop cream sauce over salmon. Scatter crispy onions on top and dot with butter.

    Broil 5–6 inches from heat until salmon is opaque at the edges and sauce bubbles, 8–10 minutes.
