Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb white fish fillets
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 1 to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 1.5 lb fish fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

In a large skillet, melt the 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add the 1 sliced onion and cook until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

Pour in the 1 cup heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

  4. 4

Add the fish fillets to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them. Cover and cook until fish is opaque and flakes easily, about 8 minutes.
