Ingredients
- 2 shots (or 3 tbsp strong brewed coffee) espresso
- 8 fl oz whole milk
- ½ tsp (optional) sugar

Pull two shots of espresso into a ceramic cup, or brew 3 tbsp strong coffee.

Pour milk into a metal pitcher. Submerge steam wand just below surface, tilt pitcher, and steam until milk reaches 150–155°F and froths to 1/4-inch layer.

Tap pitcher on counter to pop large bubbles. Swirl milk gently until glossy.

Pour steamed milk into espresso in a thin stream, tilting cup. Hold back foam with a spoon, then cap with a pour to create latte art.

Serve immediately while the foam is still intact.
