- ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb clams, scrubbed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Cook the 8 oz linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 9 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.

Heat the 3 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the 3 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the 1 lb clams and 0.5 lb shrimp to the skillet. Cover and cook until clams open and shrimp are pink, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any unopened clams.
