Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water and 2 tbsp butter. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and stir in 1 cup flour until a dough forms, about 1 minute.

Remove from heat and beat in 1 egg until smooth. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Pipe 4-5 inch strips of dough into the oil, cutting with scissors. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Drain on paper towels, then toss in a mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Serve with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.
