Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup chocolate chips together in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.

  3. 3

Whisk in 3/4 cup sugar and 2 eggs until well combined. Stir in 1/2 cup flour until just mixed; batter will be thick.

  4. 4

Fold in 1/2 cup walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

  5. 5

Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely in pan.

  6. 6

In a small saucepan, heat 1/4 cup heavy cream and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips over low, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over cooled brownie before slicing.
