Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup water
- ½ pound ground pork
- 2 stalks green onions
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 medium carrot
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- 1
In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup flour and 0.5 cup water until a shaggy dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and rest for 15 minutes.
- 2
In another bowl, combine 0.5 pound ground pork, 1 chopped green onion, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 0.25 teaspoon salt. Mix well.
- 3
Roll the rested dough into a thin sheet, about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 3-inch squares. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square, fold over to form a triangle, and press edges to seal.

In a large pot, bring 4 cups chicken broth to a boil. Add the dumplings and 1 sliced carrot. Cook for 8-10 minutes until dumplings float and are cooked through, and carrot is tender.
- 5
Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 0.25 teaspoon salt. Garnish with the remaining chopped green onion. Serve hot.
