Ingredients
- 2 pieces pita bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 small chili pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Meanwhile, thinly slice the 1 small chili pepper and mince the 1 garlic clove.

Brush one side of each of the 2 pita breads with the 1 tbsp olive oil. Place one pita, oiled side down, in the skillet.

Sprinkle half of the 1 cup shredded mozzarella over the pita, then top with half of the chili and garlic. Place the second pita on top, oiled side up.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden and crisp. Carefully flip and cook another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the pita is golden.

Remove from skillet, let cool for 1 minute, then cut into wedges and serve hot.
