Ingredients

  • 2 cups tapioca flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp black sesame seeds

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a saucepan, combine 1 cup milk, 4 tbsp butter, and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then remove from heat immediately.

    Stir in 2 cups tapioca flour until a sticky dough forms. Let cool for 5 minutes.

    Beat in 2 eggs one at a time, then mix in 1 cup grated parmesan until fully incorporated.

    Using wet hands, shape dough into 12 small balls and place on prepared baking sheet.

    Brush each bun with beaten egg (use an extra egg if needed) and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
