Ingredients
- 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ tsp dried oregano
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Separate the 1 can biscuit dough into 8 biscuits and flatten each into a 4 inch round.

Place 2 tbsp of the shredded mozzarella in the center of each round. Fold edges over the cheese and pinch to seal, forming a ball.

Melt the 2 tbsp butter and stir in the 0.5 tsp garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the tops of the buns.

Bake until golden brown and puffed, about 12-15 minutes. Meanwhile, warm the 1 cup tomato sauce with the 0.5 tsp oregano in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until hot.

Serve the warm cheese buns with the tomato sauce for dipping.
