Ingredients
- 1.25 lb pre-cooked octopus (thawed if frozen), cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tsp chili powder or crushed red pepper
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 whole lime (juiced)
- 3 whole garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Pat octopus completely dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat a large skillet over high heat until smoking, about 2 minutes.

Add octopus pieces in a single layer. Do not move them for 2 minutes until edges turn dark and crispy.

Toss the octopus, then add butter, garlic, and chili powder. Stir constantly for 1 minute until fragrant.
