10-Min Char Siu Pineapple Bun

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces brioche buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 4 oz char siu pork or rotisserie pork, sliced thin
  • 2 slices fresh pineapple, sliced into thin planks
  • 1.5 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • ½ tbsp honey

Instructions

    Stir hoisin and honey together in a small bowl until combined.

    Slice each bun in half horizontally and lightly toast the insides in a dry skillet over medium heat, 90 seconds per side.

    Spread a teaspoon of hoisin-honey glaze on the inside of each bun half.

    Layer char siu pork and a pineapple slice on the bottom half of each bun.

    Press the top half down gently and serve immediately while warm.
