Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 1.5 medium yellow onion, divided
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cup plain yogurt or sour cream
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

    Mix ground beef and pork with minced half an onion, paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into 8 logs about 3 inches long.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, about 1 minute.

    Sear kebabs for 2 minutes per side, turning once. They should look browned and feel firm when pressed.

    Push kebabs to the side. Add sliced remaining onion to the skillet and cook until charred at edges, ~3 minutes.

    Transfer kebabs and onions to a plate. Top with a dollop of yogurt and scatter with parsley.

    Serve hot with remaining yogurt on the side.
