Ingredients

- ¼ lb ground pork
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ loaf baguette, sliced lengthwise
- 2 stalks scallions, chopped
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped (optional)

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

Add ground pork and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add shrimp, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir and cook until shrimp are opaque and sauce caramelizes, 4–5 minutes.

Toast baguette cut-side down in the same skillet for 2 minutes until edges turn golden.
