Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso (or 1 shot from your machine)
  • 8 fl oz whole milk
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

    Combine sugar and butter in a small microwave-safe cup. Microwave 60 seconds, stirring once halfway through.

    Stir caramel until smooth. Add a pinch of salt and stir to combine.

    Pull 1 shot of espresso into your serving cup.

    Pour caramel sauce into the cup with espresso and stir to blend.

    Steam or heat milk until hot and foamy (microwave 60–90 seconds if steaming unavailable).

    Pour steamed milk into the cup, holding back foam with a spoon. Top with remaining foam.

    Serve immediately.
