Ingredients

  • 1 shot (1.5 oz) espresso
  • 10 oz whole milk
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp granulated sugar

Instructions

    Pour milk into a microwave-safe pitcher or milk jug.

    Microwave milk for 45 seconds until steaming and just starting to foam.

    Grab a whisk or frother and agitate milk for 20 seconds until a thick layer of microfoam forms on top.

    Pour hot espresso into a cup. Stir in vanilla and sugar until dissolved.

    Pour steamed milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon. Top with remaining foam.
