- 4 slices bacon
- 4 burger buns
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Cook the 4 bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
- 2
In a small bowl, mix the 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp ketchup, and 1 tsp mustard until smooth. Set aside.
- 3
In a large bowl, gently combine the 1 lb ground beef with the 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Shape into 4 patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
- 4
Heat the same skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium, or until browned and cooked to your liking.
- 5
Toast the 4 burger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden. Spread the sauce on the bottom halves, add the patties, top with bacon, and close the buns.
